God the Father and Creator made you and loves you. He longs for you to have a relationship with Him. But before we can understand this good news, we must start with the bad news- sin has broken our relationship with God. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “Your sin has separated you from God who is holy” (Isaiah 59:2).

But here is the Good News! God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life” (John3:16). God is not wishing that any should perish or be lost (2 Peter 3:9).  It is not His desire for our relationship with Him to remain broken. He wants to rescue us. He wants to save us. That is why He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus, to live among mankind for thirty-three years. Jesus loved those around him and showed that he was God-in-the-flesh by the miracles He performed and the perfect life He lived. He died on the cross, rose again on the third day and was accepted by God as a sacrifice for our sins. He died so that we could have eternal life. Have you realized your need for forgiveness of sins? The Lord Jesus has paid the price for sin and you can receive by faith the gift of salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9).  We pray that you will trust the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior.
